The safety of children is our number one priority.   During the day all doors are locked except the main entrance.

Cottonwood Christian Learning Center is monitored through the fire department and police department.  In the event of a fire, the fire trucks are automatically dispatched.  In the event of an intruder or other emergency, a panic button is pushed and the police will be dispatched immediately.  Tests are run on the monitoring system daily through Fire Pros.

Fire drills and tornado drills are practiced on a regular basis.

Staff is trained in CPR, First Aid, bloodborne pathogens, and how to use an AED Machine.  The AED machine is onsight at the center during normal business hours.

Child information cards are kept in each classroom for emergency purposes.
